Art Mentorship Program
Side Street Studio Arts is launching a new Art Mentorship program this year to focus on one-on-one artistic development between a young artist and a local artist. We will select high school students who would like to expand their creative mindset. To apply, each student must have a project in mind that they would like to work on with a mentor.
This could be a past project, one that is still in progress, or a brand new project. Side Street will then pair each student with an artist that best fits their aesthetic, media, and creative process.This program is free and available for 10th - 12th grade students who have a passion for art. The Mentorship program will take place the week of March 27-31 during U46's spring break. Each student will have the opportunity to meet at Side Street and work with their mentor for up to 5 hours each day. Programa de tutoría de arte de Side Street para estudiantes de secundaria Side Street Studio Arts está lanzando un programa nuevo Tutoría de arte este año para enfocarse en el desarrollo artístico individual entre un artista joven y un artista local. Elegiremos a estudiantes de secundaria a quienes les gustaría expandir su mentalidad creativa.Para aplicar, cada estudiante debe tener un proyecto en mente en el que le gustaría trabajar con un mentor.
Este podría ser un proyecto anterior, uno que aún está en progreso o un proyecto nuevo. Side Street luego emparejará a cada estudiante con un artista que mejor se adapte a su estética, medios y proceso creativo.Este programa es gratuito y está disponible para estudiantes de los grados 11 y 12 que tengan pasión por el arte. El programa de tutoría se llevará a cabo la semana del 27 al 31 de marzo durante las vacaciones de primavera de U46.
