Rachael Caise is a former educator with nearly a decade of classroom experience. Rachael graduated from Illinois State University in 2012 with a degree in Elementary Education. She later studied Administration & Leadership in Education at North Central College from 2018-2020. While working as an educator, she led many committees and teams for her school, school district and teacher’s union.Rachael left the field in 2021 to launch her own program for kids called Spirit Street. Spirit Street is a character education program that utilizes the Illinois State Board of Education Standards to teach students Social & Emotional Learning Skills.Prior to becoming an educator, in her teen years, Rachael performed in numerous plays and musicals in the Elgin area. She studied voice privately for 8 years and attended Larkin High School’s Visual and Performing Arts Academy with a focus on Drama. Rachael worked as a teacher, director and counselor for “CYT/Spotlight” from 2007-2012: working in 5 Chicagoland counties, teaching theater education classes and directing full stage productions. Today, Rachael reads audiobooks and works as a voice over actress and narrator.Rachael has a passion for working with adolescents, education and the arts! She is excited to be a part of the Side Street Family and is looking forward to connecting more deeply with the Elgin Community at large.
